You couldn’t help it, you hated your teacher. Ja’far was just so overly indulgent in his work and nagging all the time! It really didn’t help his cause that he could be very emotionally distant too. It’s not like he was mean to you, but he certainly didn’t go out of his way to foster a close student/teacher relationship either.
